Born on October 5 ,1952, in a well to do educated Pashto family along with his brother and two sisters, in Lahore, an affluent city of Pakistan, Imran is the child of Shaukat Khanum and Irkamullah Khan Niazi .His mother was a nurturing figure in Imran’s life while his father earned by working as a civil engineer. Members of Niazi clan are traditionally from Mianwali in Pakistan Punjab province .
Although raised in a conservative family, Islam was treated with respect and development with education was also surrounded with Islamic traditions .
