Mir Hamza is born on 10 September, 1992 in Karachi, Pakistan. Hamza was naturally drawn to the sport growing up in one of the world’s most cricket-loving cities. Born to a humble family, he worked hard to achieve his dreams of playing professional cricket. His potential as a fast bowler was apparent in his formative years, and he was soon identified among local competitions for his ability to swing the ball ferociously.
Domestic Cricket Journey
Mir Hamza made his first-class debut for Karachi Whites in the 2011–12 domestic season. He soon made a name for himself as one of Pakistan’s most reliable fast bowlers in domestic cricket. Throughout the years, he consistently performed in the Quaid-e-Azzam Trophy, Pakistan’s foremost first-class tournament. His credentials as a match-winner were underlined by his career-best match figures of 16 for 59 in the 2021-22 season.
