CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 is free of cost, recently announced by the Punjab government few months before, for students with good marks. We’ve come up with a scheme that has students buzzing, keen to get their hands on the latest devices.
Overview of the Scheme: CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025
Through this initiative, the state government intends to provide deserving students with 50,000 cutting-edge laptops. Also, 2,000 laptops will be dedicated to students of color. Students who have performed well in matriculation and intermediate examinations are also eligible for the program.
What Devices Will Be Distributed?
Students part of the program will be provided with 13th-generation Core i7 notebooks. The goal is to develop research and learning by providing students with the latest technology. Laptops will be given free of cost to university students and position holders in Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examinations as well as minority students.

Laptops will be distributed at different educational levels, as follows:
20,000 laptops for university students.
14,000 computers for college students.
4,000 laptops for technical and agricultural colleges.
2,000 laptopps for medical and dental colleges.
Among all other things, the distribution of 32% laptops are also ensured for South Punjab students.

Application Process
While in odd programs students need to apply online, CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 does not have this clause. Instead, educational institutions will be responsible for validating the data of the eligible students. The final choice of candidates would be made by the Higher Population Commission (HEC) Punjab on the basis of this data.
Timeline for Distribution
This program is expected to register people from February 2025 onwards featuring the laptops promising to be distributed in April or May after the month of Ramadan. Related: The first shipment of laptops in this regard has already reached Pakistan, the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said earlier this month.
